Derek
Tate & Rick Brewster went to Hell and Back in April 2004. Well they
went to Helland first, then Hell, then back to Derby.
Helland is in Cornwall, Hell is on the outskirts of Nijkerk in Holland.

First port of call was Helland in Cornwall..
A small village just off the A30.
We then went and stayed for the first night at Lyme Regis. Oh, and we had a couple of bevvies as well !!!! |

Rick said he was always being followed by birds..
This is the one that would not leave him alone.
Funny that there were no other birds following him......of any kind..... |

The second day saw us on the Dover to Calais ferry (thanks to P&O who donated the tickets). .
Then we travelled for a short while into France and stayed at Arras for the night. |

This is one of only 4 houses in Hell. .

The
ride is good, about 1800 miles and we did it in 5 days. Great fun.
Especially the continuous rain for the last day and a half !! |
